Upcoming at Blue School

October is full of fun at Blue School! To start with, on the 4th, we will kick off our Reach for the Stars fundraiser. With the help of friends and family, we can earn books for our students and school. On the 27th, we will have a book fair for all of the students who have earned free books. October 28th is a big day! We'll start our morning with A program called The Wonderful World of Bats for the Blue School and preschool students. We will learn all about bats and be able to create a bat t-shirt to take home. Later in the morning, Blue School students will have their Halloween party. Preschool will celebrate Halloween on the 31st.

Our Read It! program will start on October first and continue until March. Every student who reads every night will be able to earn a free Pizza Hut pizza each month. Don't forget, no school on the 7th and 10th for a Staff Development Day and Columbus Day. In other news, we had our first birthday last Friday - complete with yummy cupcakes. We didn't forget to butter our birthday boy's nose for good luck!
