Thank You, Veterans!

Blue School started out the week on a high note - we got to go see Miss Nelson is Missing at the Hopkins Center in Hanover. We had tons of fun watching the cast sing, dance, and tell us the story of Miss Nelson and her class.

In honor of Veterans Day, Blue School has spent time this week learning about the history of the holiday and why we celebrate. In art class, we made landscapes of poppy fields. Our student intern, Miss Brooke taught us a lesson and helped us create paper poppies to give to the veterans at our Veterans Day Celebration. We used our writing time this week to learn how to write letters and everyone wrote a letter to thank our guests for their service.
